Crosslake MN Celebrates America

2014 marks the 44th year the community of Crosslake has been celebrating Americas' freedom with a fantastic fireworks display. Join us on July 5, 2014 on the water or from the shores of Cross Lake to view the display from Sand Island beginning at dusk.

The 17 annual community wide effort to restore the Whitefish area's walleye population will take place Saturday, July 5th, as Grandpa's Run for the Walleye 5K race takes place in Crosslake. This Crosslake tradition offers events for all ages and abilities. Run, walk or dash for the fun and for the fish. The 5K run/walk will follow a flat, scenic route through Crosslake. Water stop and post race refreshments will be available at the Crosslake Community Center. The race starts at 9:00 am, preceded by the Kids Sunfish Dash at 8:30 am. Early registration is on July 4th from 10:00 until Noon, with race day registration from 7:15 until 8:30, both at the community center.

Prior to the fireworks, Shane Martin, a Nashville recording artist from Minnesota, will be at the Crosslake Town Square Gazebo from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

While in Crosslake, stop by and visit with one of the agents at RE/MAX Lakes Area Realty regarding all of your real estate needs.
