Lakes Area News Now Delivers Local TV Weather

Lakes Area News now delivers local televised weather for Alexandria and Central Minnesota. New Lakes Area News team member, Mark Anthony, will deliver daily weather updates on weekdays and a weekend forecast every Friday.
Anthony was the chief meteorologist at KSAX-TV, and has filled in on a regular basis in the weather department at KSTP-TV. He was also an on-air personality at KS95 in the Twin Cities.
Anthony received a Bachelor of Science in meteorology/geosciences from Mississippi State University. He also has a Bachelor of Science in print journalism from Minnesota State University Moorhead, and a Bachelor of Science from Charter Oak State College in Broadcast Communications.
He also holds a master’s degree in history, a master’s degree in public administration and a Master of Business Administration.
Local news is on the air every night at 6:30 and 10 p.m. on Lakes Area Local Access Television (LALA). It is also on Channel 4 for Gardonville TV subscribers and on Selective TV channel 21.4. Streamed broadcasts are available at
