Crow Wing County Seeks Public Comment on Aquatic Invasive Species Plan
The Crow Wing County land services department is requesting public comment on the proposed 2015 Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Plan. The AIS plan can be viewed by clicking HERE. Written comments on the plan will be accepted until January 23rd and may be submitted to Mitch Brinks, Crow Wing County water protection specialist, at firstname.lastname@example.org. The County Board will review the AIS plan at its regularly scheduled meeting on February 10th, at 9:00 AM. The meeting will be held in the county board room on the third floor of the Crow Wing County courthouse on Laurel Street in Brainerd. Crow Wing County has been allocated $450,000 by the State Legislature to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species within the county during 2015.
