Fall in Northern Minnesota

Fall is one of the best times to come up north!  The mosquitoes have finally subsided and the lakes are starting to cool down.  Its time to pull out your over-sized sweaters and long johns, and sit around a couple more bonfires before it is to cold to even go outside.

Come up this weekend and see what beautiful northern Minnesota has to offer in the fall. The leaves are changing quickly, we are currently in peak color! The DNR website has some great information on why leaves change and you can check out when your area is in peak color.

Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup | Cooking ClassyHead over to the Nisswa Farmers Market to pick up all the stuff you need to make some soup to keep you warm as the weather turns colder. Here is a great site (Cooking Classy) with 30 different soup recipes for you to try, including the classic chicken noodle, and an easy creamy wild rice.

Actually I fall for the blues and greens first, but you can't deny what October does. Always stuns me.: Check out our Pintrest board: Fall in Northern MN for some great activities to do with you family, must try pumpkin recipes, fall decorating tips and some gorgeous pictures of the fall colors at the lake to get you inspired.

Come on up and see us at RE/MAX Lakes Area Realty if you want to find your own little paradise. Whether you need some hunting land or a cabin on the lake, we have it all!
